As I read the obit I can’t help but think how better off our country would be if we had more Jim Tyler’s. A life that was to short but it was well lived and his spiritual strength at the end was inspiring.
I was so fortunate to get to know Jim through Jason starting when we attended the Nebraska/Pittsburgh game in 2004. It was a beautiful September afternoon and as we talked I realized the special father/son relationship Jim and Jason had and that Jim was an amazing person. The Husker Nation has lost a knowledgeable and dedicated fan who had a big heart.
Deepest sympathy to Lee, Jason and family.
