Obituary of Inez J. Washburn

Inez J. Washburn Inez J. Washburn, 85, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2017 at Chestnut Park Rehab & Nursing Center in Oneonta, where she has resided for the past seven years. She was born on February 1, 1932 in Utica, NY, daughter of the late Cecil and Ruth (MacIntyre) Crumb. Inez was a former member of the Sidney Center Baptist Church. She enjoyed making crafts. She loved giving to others; it made her very happy. She is survived by two sons: Charles and Lynda Washburn of Sidney and Edward Washburn of New Berlin; two sisters: Linda MacEvoy and Doris Blidenburg; grandchildren: Jennifer Pappas, Charles Washburn, III, Jessica Decker, Debra Gabrielson and Christopher Washburn; great-grandchildren: Kaelyn Pappas, Weston Pappas, Corbin Decker, Emalee Decker and Gunnar Gabrielson; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her son, Cecil, brother, Alan Crumb and sister, Velma Crumb. Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, October 23rd in Brookfield Rural Cemetery, Brookfield, New York. Share condolences with the family online at www.landersfh.com.
