Carmella "Bea" Briggs
Sidney- Carmella "Bea" Briggs passed away September 3, 2017 at Albany Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born at home in Brooklyn, NY to Bianca & Vincent Cuozzo Sr.
Bea is survived by her husband Jack Briggs of Sidney, and her sister Marie Whittaker of Florida.
She is also survived by her children: Susan Harris (Patricia McCormick), Helen Harris (Karen Clark), Marie and Scott Gray, Kenny Harris, James and Joan Harris; her grandchildren: Mary Santana, Matthew Richards, Megan, Andrew & Hannah Gray, Vinnie Harris, Tabitha Harris, Samantha Harris, Ashley Harris, Jasmine Harris and great-grandchildren: Anthony & Lexie Santana
She was pre-deceased by her mother and father and three brothers, Vincent, Ralph and Charles Cuozzo.
Friends may call on Friday September 8th from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00pm at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney. A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, September 9th at the funeral chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Stroke Association at www.stroke.org. Condolences may be shared with the family online at www.landersfh.com.
