I am writing this for Shanalin and Darien, your other beloved grandchildren- from the time they arrived from Korea, 23 years ago, you couldn't wait to see them, you were the first one, as Shanalin slept through most of it, from coming home, You enjoyed watching her grow up, graduate from Elementary school, High School, and Columbia University this year- she was so proud to think you made the trip at 88 yrs old! We all knew you would have a great time down there and you were goiing no matter what! You also enjoyed watching her eat and wondered- where is she putting it!
Darien, 20 years old now, starting his 2nd year of college- for a long time, he was your only grandson, and you were proud of it- you watched him grow up into a great young man, he always made you laugh whenever he came out with something he couldn't say [[born w/Cleft Lip/Palate], when little- he has always been the family clown, making everyone laugh! He also enjoyed having meals w/you, as his grandma was the best cook ever- and usually, not much left over after a meal- he is still that way today, everyone wonder's, where is he putting it!! Rest in Peace Grandma Heath Please say hello from us to everyone up there, we will be thinking of you at all of the holidays, as the kids enjoyed them w/you as well!

Tonight my heart is heavy as I have to say goodbye to my beloved Aunt Esther. I will miss her it gives me comfort to know she and Mom are together again I can't image what a happy reunion that must have been. I want to let David and Michelle know how truly sorry I am for your loss. Kathy, I hope you know how much you meant to Aunt Esther she always spoke about you with great love. Alicia and Amber your Gram loved you girls more than just about anything I hope that with time the hurt your feeling now will be replaced with the warmness of the thoughts of how much she loved you girls. I love you all and you have my deepest sympathy.

I will always remember Esther's gentle voice and sweet smile. She was at every Barnhart family event, bbq, and holiday for as far back as I can remember. She always greeted me with a smile and a hug. Her presence will truly be missed. I feel so lucky to have had "Grandma" Heath in my life.
