I know that Francis passed away several years ago and I am sorry for his family's loss. Today (April 30, 2020), I came across a piece of paper that Francis had given me with his address and phone number and I thought of him and smiled. I have thought fondly of Francis over the years. He was a volunteer at Arden Hill Hospital when I was a patient there (twice - in 2005 and 2007). I really cared for Francis, and I actually asked for him when I was admitted to the hospital for the second time. He always had a smile and an encouraging word for me, which was very comforting to me before my surgeries. I remember that one day, he came back to see me several times, just to sit and talk with me because he knew that I was nervous. He was wonderful to me, and he was a kind, caring person with a good heart. I just wanted to let you know that I will always remember Francis and his kindness.
