Obituary of Viorica Obeada

Viorica Obeada Sidney, NY Viorica Obeada, 75, of Sidney, passed away Saturday July 29 at A.O. Fox Nursing Home in Oneonta. She was born February 20, 1942, daughter of Stefan and Nastasia Dumitru in Jegalia, Romania. Viorica married Simion Obeada in 1960 near the beautiful Black Sea in the city of Constanta, Romania. Together they raised four sons; Octavian, Sorin, Lorenz, and Lauro. She is survived by Octavian and Sabina Obeada and their 4 children, Sorin Obeada, Lorenz and Elizabeth Loren and their two daughters, Lauro and Ligia Obeada and their two sons. Viorica had 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Viorica was the eldest amongst her 2 brothers and 2 sisters. She was a loving and caring person, who always enjoyed family reunions, cooking, and serving all her loved ones. Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 2.00 PM at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main Street, Sidney. Burial will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Sidney.
