We were saddened to learn of Wilma's passing upon return to New York today. We considered her a friend and fellow Guilfordite. She was instrumental in recognizing Bruce's sister, Vicky one year during Memorial Day services and for that we are eternally grateful. Since she knew my sister from earlier years we also shared that connection. Her sense of humor was enjoyed by many and we will miss her! To Tom and family, we are deeply sorry for your loss. Hopefully in time your sadness will be replaced with many happy memories of your time together. In sympathy,Bruce and Jo Ann Winsor

I am sure that Wilma is getting all of the genealogical and historical mysteries we puzzled over solved at last. She opened up a long forgotten part of my family history for me and it led to many wonderful discoveries about Guilford's involvement in the San Francisco gold rush. Wilma shared in every bit of the excitement with me and when the research took place on opposite coastlines, she was always in my corner cheering me on. I will forever miss my dear friend and genealogy pal.
Rest in peace dearest Wilma and be ready to fill me in on all your discoveries when I get there.
Love always,
Claire

I have never met Wilma Gray, but I was grieved to learn she had died. I know she is with the Lord and that is a good thing, but I was thinking of the loss of the person and the spirit and joy she brought to this world. She and Thomas Gray have helped our family so many times with our family research in Chenango Co. Our family researcher are all across the country. I live in Nebraska, Marsha in Cal, Mary in Iowa, Mary Ariz, John & Alice in NY, Lyle in Neb, & Jerry in Wash. She will be greatly missed. Many thanks from the Wood family Homestead in Nebraska.

Tom and family, I am so sorry for your loss. My deepest condolences are with you all. Wilma was so lovely helping me with my Bartlett ancestry and linking me to other Bartlett's and Banner's from Guilford. I will always remember how kind and generous she was to me.

What a wonderful and full life she had! I remember how hard she worked to research family connections for people she did not even know. Wilma knew the importance of family and shared that love with others freely. We got her to the church on time for her wedding to Tom and we often laughed at how she almost missed the wedding! She will be truly missed but left a legacy that will long be remembered.
