Raymond was the best at window decorating. One year (while in grade school) he decided to decorate the living room window. He asked to go out and get leaves too. He proceeded to make Mr. and Mrs. Pilgrim with construction paper, they were the size of the window. He drew in their faces and placed leaves around and at their feet. To my amazement, he also cut out and drew a cornucopia. I so miss Raymond for his creative ways.
Last week - I opened the front door. Several brown leaves decorated the storm door window frame. They were beautifully arranged - perhaps it was just the wind. Suddenly I thoughts of Raymond filled my eyes with tears. I miss his decorative spirit.
