So sorry to hear about Dick's passing. We both had the privilege of knowing him during the General Clinton, and he was raised by my Great-Aunt and Uncle. He, also, sold us our double-wide home in 1986. He was one of a kind, always so friendly and happy. He will be missed. Sending you a lot of hugs, love and prayers.

Jean,
So sorry for your loss! I have many memories of Dick, especially involving the canoe regatta. Fun times! Although I haven't seen the two of you lately, I remember your wedding, and your devotion to each other.
With deepest sympathy,
Charla

I an not sure where to start, so first would be deep sympathy to Jean. Your devotion to each other was always apparent when Dick gave you credit with each honor he received.
Our names being similar, we were often mistaken for each other or that we were related. Of course we laughed it off and decided maybe we WERE somehow related.
When Dick asked me to be part of the Regatta Hall of Fame, it was truly an honor. No one knew more about this event and even a few days ago he emailed me on one of the 2017 inductees. Always caring and always on point.
Thanks Dick for all the great talks and shared activities over the years. I'll give you a special "Go 'Cuse!"
