Kate was a truly amazing woman. I remember going over to their house long ago for a birthday party for Bob *WHAT ABOUT BOB* and at that point in my life it was the most legendary get together I had ever seen. So many people laughing, dancing, drinking, telling jokes, singing along to music; it was amazing. That party is how I still see them. And i'll always remember the stories they told of my grandmother and grandfather, they gave me a connection to a grandfather i'd never meet and always told great stories about Nina. I will never forget the stories or how fun it was to go see Kate when I was home from college. I recently found a TON of high quality digital photos from my graduation party, mixed in are some great photos of members of the D'Iperio family who came over. What's even better though is I actually went over to Patrick's party as well towards the end of the evening and shot some great photos of everyone dancing. The whole family living it up! I will try to send them to Patrick soon. Hard to believe 10 years has gone by. Much love to you all, these are tough times but i've never seen a tougher family. I hope to see you folks sometime soon. My deepest condolences.

Dear D'Imperio Family,
Words cannot express what we feel in our hearts today. Your Mom was a wonderful lady and my family and I have so many great memories of our families spending time together. No matter how much time had passed between visits when the D'Imperio and Panaro families got together it was always a good time. And so it is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye but we know she has rejoined your Dad and it is all good. In fact I am sure they are all together, Don, Kate, Carl and Nina Mae enjoying a cocktail or two (for sure) and having a lot of fun.

My condolences go out to the D'Imperio family on the loss of this dear woman. Your mother and my father were classmates, Class of 1946...Catherine Cody, was how my parents, Vic & Flossie Miller, would refer to her often. She was well-loved around her community, and a true inspiration to Moms everywhere. Thank you Mrs. D for being such a great role model to those of us who grew up in Sidney.

The loss of "Mrs. D" is truly felt by so many in the Sidney community...we all felt like she was OUR mom too...she was so sweet, always a big smile and big hug every single time she saw you...like she was happier to see you than anyone! She made us all feel special and loved. She loved her family so much...and was blessed to have such great kids and grandkids to keep her smiling right to the end...we will miss Mrs. D like we miss Mr. D...a beautiful reunion in heaven on their 70th anniversary! Love to the family...we will never forget.

My heartfelt condolences go out to the entire family on the loss of your dear Mom. Such a lovely lady who touched the hearts of so many in Sidney. I've been gone from my hometown for over 50 years, yet whenever I've returned to visit family or attend Alumni Weekend, your Mom was sure to be around at events...with a smile on her face, enjoying life to the fullest. As sad as we all are in Kate's passing, we are also fortunate to have had so much treasured time with the woman I'll always call "everyone's Mom".
Many stories will be shared here; let me start: in 1976, Bob's and my senior year. We had a group (Jazz Rock 4) who rehearsed in the D'Imperio basement for months and had one paying gig at the Fireman's Queen Dance. For all of $50. We voted to split the money evenly at $10 each, with the remaining $10 going for flowers for Mrs. D...you'd have thought she was Queen for a Day the way she reacted. I'll cherish that time and all times since.
Kate made me (and many others) part of her family. She welcomed all into her home and into her heart. Love you all. Your parents are reunited again.
