Obituary of Vincent A. Luca, Jr.

Vincent A. Luca, Jr. Bainbridge—Vincent A. Luca, Jr., 64, passed away at home surrounded by his loving wife and family on Friday, November 11, 2016. He was born on April 19, 1952 in Newark, NJ, son of Vincent, Sr. and Grace Luca. He grew up in Kenilworth, New Jersey. He was an employee of Amphenol Corp. in Sidney for 42 years, working as a Business Development Manager. Vincent was also an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and loved the beach. Above all else, he was devoted to his family. He will be deeply missed by: his wife, Barbara A. Luca; three children: Vincent A. Luca, III (fiancée, Lesley Mccormick), Christopher F. Luca (wife, Tricia) and Kimberly A. D'Amore (wife, Marcy D'Amore); seven grandchildren: Tyler, Mackenzie, Cameron, Lyndsay, Parker, Caleb and Ryan; his parents, Vincent, Sr. and Grace Luca; three brothers, four sisters; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 from 6:00-8:00pm at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney, NY 13838. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, November 16th at the funeral chapel with Fr. Bernard Osei Ampong, pastor of Sacred Heart Church, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Vincent's memory may be directed to the American Cancer Society for esophageal cancer research at www.cancer.org or to Catskill Area Hospice & Palliative Care, 1 Birchwood Dr. Oneonta, NY 13820.
