Obituary of Valerie Jean Cutting

Valerie Jean Cutting Sidney, NY Valerie Jean Cutting, 59, of Sidney, NY, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, September 29, 2016. She was born in Oneonta on July 11, 1957 daughter of the late Richard and Pauline Mattice. Valerie was a 36 year employee of Amphenol Corp. in Sidney, NY and a member of IAM&AW. She was a highly qualified (A) Plater in Amphenol's plating department, and one of the most dedicated they had. Valerie was an avid golfer and loved the people at Sundown Golf Course, especially her Thursday Night Ladies League. She loved to travel with her husband, and together they enjoyed cruises and many other excursions. She is survived by: her loving husband, Mark Cutting; her two sons: Michael (Cassie) Field and Christopher (Ilona) Field; three stepchildren: Kelly (Shawn) Kelly, Casey Cutting and Matthew (Nicole) Cutting; her grandchildren: Caleb, Alexander, Abigail, Lacey, Brooklyn, Wyatt, Serenity, Stella and Wyatt; her mother-in-law, Diane Cutting; a very special niece, Breon (Eddie) Gonzalez; nephews, Garrett Spooner and Vincent Abney; special friends, Mike and Kim Anderson and Helen Martin; as well as many brothers and sisters-in-law and their families. In addition to her parents, Valerie was predeceased by her father-in-law, Loren Cutting. Valerie, we all love you to the moon and back. Friends are invited to call on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 from 12:00noon-2:00pm and 4:00-6:00pm at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main Street Sidney, NY 13838. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Valerie's memory may be directed to Catskill Area Hospice & Palliative Care, 1 Birchwood Drive Oneonta, NY 13820.
