I bought Harvey's Brother Johnny's former House and Harvey would come and Visit me and the House he grew up in.He would bring me real pictures of My house back in 1941 and let me keep them! He was a Great Man , May he Rest In Peace

Harvey was a great neighbor, always quick to lend a hand or a tool, ready to give advice when asked. I think I probably wore out one of his roof rakes the first year I lived at #10 Edgewood. It's hard to imagine that area of Sidney without him.

I will truly miss Mr. Phillips coming into the Village of Sidney offices. He was by far my favorite resident to deal with. Always a smile and story to share. A true gentleman. I will fondly remember our last conversation. RIP Mr. Phillip.

Please know how saddened I am after reading of your Dad's passing. While I worked at NBT Bank in Sidney I had the pleasure of waiting on your Dad and Mom several times, and I loved every minute of it! Your Dad always brightened my day with his great sense of humor! He will be missed by many. You will be in my thoughts and prayers as you try and cope with this sadness. I know from the loss of my Dad in Feb but know you have many people who care about you! Fay

The words "good neighbor" is an understatement, Harvey was one of the most good natured, wonderful friend with good sense of humor and not a mean bone in his body! He was the best neighbor anyone could ever ask for! We will greatly miss his stories and him for sure! Bonnie & Claude
