David was one of the first people I met when I arrived at the DLI in Monterey, CA in the fall of 1972. He was a true gentleman in every sense of the word; kind, smart, funny and a joy to talk to. My deepest sympathy to the Rickerson family and I will keep them all in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you all.
