Doris was my very dear friend. We met in junior high and have been great friends ever since. She was like a sister to me. We shared so very much. I just can't believe she is gone. I will miss our phone conversations; mostly once a week. If I would call her, she would say "I was just going to call you" Our minds seemed to work together. Our most recent conversation was from her hospital bed. She called to wish me a Happy Birthday. It was so good to hear her voice. It was one of her better days. I will treasure that conversation. I hold so many memories of our years as friends. Visits to the farm, her visits to me, our families together. I could write a book. All I can say now is that I am very, very sad to have lost my good friend. All my Love to you Paul, Paula and Andy. Paula please keep in touch.

I am Doris Turner's Goddaughter I always called her "Aunt Doe" I loved her bunches and will miss her bunches. I have so many memories of her that will stay with me forever.
