Uncle Al was a great man and a sweet, creative soul. I still have the rubber band gun that he hand made and gave me when I was a kid (and one for Lincoln, too!). He made the best paper airplanes ever (seriously) and his drawings were awesome. RIP Uncle Al. I hope that you're pranking my dad right now and having a good laugh.

So sorry to hear of Alan's passing. He will be missed by many. My first memories of him go back to the house before East Main St. He seemed so tall to me.

Uncle Al will always have a special place in my heart. The Times we spent in Sydney sitting in the back yard as a child and the times we spent around the card table when I was learning how to play the card games. He was a special man and now has a special star shining brightly above watching us all.
