Richie was a great friend and like a brother to me. My children and I spent almost every weekend with the Jankowski family and Gene taught my kids to fish. Great times at the house, parties were memorable, the stories I could share. Remember the wedding, children births, Caroline's tolerance and a great group of friends. Truly the most memorable days of my life. It remains my honor to have had the privilege to know, love and miss them all as life took me to other places. RIP My Brother!! Thanks to all the Jankowski's, Deeply regret your loss and God Bless.

So sorry to hear that Rich passed. He was a great man, and a very kind person. I started working with him on Main Street in Sydney, and had convinced him I could do the jobs we had, and offered to do the graphics for him for his grand opening so that he would take me on - I may still have some of the printed pieces!
He gave me my first start in architecture, and I went on to build a long career in urban planning and transportation. I owe my big break to Rich, please let me know if there is ever anything I can do to keep his memory alive for anyone who considers architecture as a career.
He was a great mentor, and I'm sure he is missed by all who knew him.

Bob was remembering Rich's mom running down the side of the football field yelling ( in her lovely Polish accent). "Go Richie! Go Richie!". I remember learning some Polish curse words, and always sharing a laugh in study hall. A great guy. Our condolences to Caroline and the family!!

My families sympathy is extended to all of Rich's friends and family. A true and loyal friend,talented artist and a darn good football player. I truly enjoyed having him for a classmate and we shared a lot of good times at MUCHS. Until we meet again, rest in peace my friend, rest in peace.

Richard and I went to Dutchess Community college together. He was was my roommate for our last year at school.
