I was saddened to read about your Dad's passing away.
Reading the obituary reminded me of you both and our Swedish family reunions when we were kids. (A "few" years ago!)
He had a very full life and I'm sure you have many fond memories.

In so happy my Grandmother chose such a fine human being to spend her last year's with. He took such good care of her and I know she loved him deeply. He fit into our family as If he were always there and there will be an enormous hole in our family.
I'm glad my side of the family (his sister, Ella Mae Deming) was able to reconnect over the past year and that I was able to speak to Roger a couple of times. He seemed to be a very kind gentleman and will surely be missed by his family. My thought and prayers are with him and his (our) family.
