Hallo Familie Spalholz,
ich bin Harry Szymiczek aus Oberhausen in Deutschland. Meine Mutter war Inge Katharina Szymiczek geborene Albrecht aus Ernsthauen. Ich kannte Hans-Jürgen und seinen Bruder leider nicht persönlich. Ich kannte aber seine Eltern, die ich als Kind mit meiner Mutter, öfter in Gelsenkirchen besucht habe. Meine Mutter hat aber sehr oft von Hans-Jürgen und seinem Bruder Wilfried erzählt. Sie ist leider im Juni 2018 an Leukämie verstorben.
Ich wünsche Ihnen unbekannterweise alles gute für die Zukunft.

I have just heard of Hans's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. If I had heard earlier I would have been there today. Hans was a friendly, funny and warm hearted man and I'm sorry I didn't get to see much of him in recent years. I used to greatly enjoy our chess games. My heartfelt condolences.
