I was truly saddened to hear of Kings passing. David and I grew up together in the 'Atomic City' and spent a lot of time enjoying the life in the 'Secret City'. David and I roomed together on all of our football and basketball trips. He always brought a couple of oranges on each trip which he shared with me. David will be missed.

From the early 1990s through 2005, Blue Seal Feeds was a sponsor of local sports on WCDO. Besides great conversations with Josie Winchester, I got the message that BSF didn't sell more product because of its sponsorship...rather Dave felt strongly that they were best served as supporters of the kids this way.
Later, I got to know Dave and Judy in other circles. But that mindset of supporting community and student-athletes remains an indelible mark. Sympathies to the family and friends of Dave Derr. rest in peace.

Judy, it breaks my heart to have heard that Dave is gone to the great beyond. Please accept my heartfelt condolences for the loss of your humble, loving and caring husband. Dave was very instrumented in helping the orphan kids in my country Liberia over the years through Rotary projects. surely, he was a devoted Rotarian and will greatly be missed. Sorry to hear about David. (Remembering) We played basketball together at Los Alamos NM. Coach always assigned David to guard the opponents best player. He was a Super Athlete and a genuine nice guy. RIP

So sorry to hear about Daves passing. I worked with him at Blue Seal Feeds. He was a great man whom taught me alot about the feed business. Judy and family my deepest condolences. Dave will truly be missed in our Thursday night golf league. It was always a joy to listen to him and his buddies' stories after a match. Every Thursday night there would be Dave, Dave, Dave and Craig sitting at there table having their glass of wine. Don and I could always count on Dave and Craig beating us in our match, they were great competitors. RIP Dave.

Everyone who knew David thought highly of his abilities. As a very kind sole he just got things done. There were never obstacles too big for him to conquer.
