Obituary of Terry J. Dailey, Sr.

Terry J. Dailey, Sr. Nineveh, NY Terry James Dailey, Sr., 68, passed away at home on Thursday, January 28, 2016. Terry was born on May 10, 1947 in Johnson City, NY, son of Wilber and Phyllis (Matson) Dailey. He married his longtime companion, Tina Pratt on March 18, 2006. In his youth, Terry built silos and drilled water wells. For many years, he worked as a sand hog, digging tunnels for 147 Local Union. He loved to fish and cook. Terry had a fondness for animals and always needed to have a dog and a cat at home. He raised numerous animals and enjoying tending to his vegetable garden. Terry will be remembered for his great sense of humor and his deep love for his children and grandchildren. Terry is survived by: his wife, Tina Dailey; 3 children: Terry Dailey, Jr., Dennis Dailey and Carrie Roberts; 8 grandchildren: Isaiah, Dennis, Jr., Logan, Kaelum, Ryan, Christine, Zach and Gracie, and a brother, Randy Dailey. Terry was predeceased by his brother, Charles and sister, Nancy. In accordance with Terry's wishes, there will be no services. Burial will take place in Greenlawn Cemetery, Bainbridge at a later date. Condolences may be shared online at www.landersfh.com. Arrangements are under the direction of C.H.
