My deepest sympathies to you all. I have many fond memories of Fern and her love of nature; walks to find frog eggs with wriggling tadpoles, the sound of bird song accompanying our lunches and her ability to name each. She was my sitter, but more than that. She helped give me a wonder filled childhood. Blessings to you all.

My thoughts are with you Kevin & Linda. When ever I see a BlueJay I always think of your Mom and the time she had our elementary class come to see them in your back yard in the middle of winter. What a wonderful memory I will always carry of your Mom. She was such a wonderful lady and always loving and kind to me all my life!! She will truly be missed!!

“She decided to free herself, dance into the wind, create a new language. And birds fluttered around her, writing “yes in the sky.

Like Fay, I remember Mrs. Quick teaching us all about birds from her yard. As her spirit soars, may all the birds sing a heavenly song. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

It is with sadness that I learned of Fern's passing. I worked at the Senior Living facility and knew Fern for close to a year. I could always count on seeing her sitting in "her" chair in the lobby by the window working on a puzzle and resting.
My heart goes out to Fern's family, especially Darrilyn, whom I came to know. May she rest in peace with the Lord and may you, her family, find peace in knowing you will see her again one day in paradise.
