To our Dear Madeline,
You were never a cousin to Diane, Lil & I by marriage, you were our heart and soul. We have and always will love you until we meet again in Heaven. I moved up here to spend a lot of time with you and Bill. I cherish the little time we had. We have memories that go way back that no one can ever take away.

Like Donna said, we have so many wonderful memories of Madeline. One of the funniest was the day she got married. Oh what a beautiful bride for sure. Her gown was named appropriately by the shop owner. As was the style way back then, her satin dress had a "hoop" and when it "lifted up" her beautiful white BUT WRINKLED slip was showing!
Mad I love you and like I wrote to Frank, "see ya".
Love,
Diane

To Our Beloved Madeline,
They say it takes a village to raise a child. Donna and I know you since we were five years old.
You were definitely part of that village for Donna, Diane and myself. When you married Bill we were all so happy!
Your love and confidence that you gave to us at eleven years old, letting us watch your most precious gifts, our Lori and Linda gave us such a great sense of self esteem. That was part of our family village.
I really don't know what we are going to do with out you? I will watch for signs and know you are there. I know you will walk with Bill, Lori, Linda, Lucas, Allen and his family, and the rest of us.
To you it was never "relatives," it was always "FAMILY." Oh how lucky we are as that love you gave is your legacy and gift to all us, and it stays with us until we all meet again.
Your love, caring, giving, fun loving nature was an innate quality that you were born with and blessed with.
Your leaving has taken a huge chunk out of our lives. But you will always live on in our hearts. We have the two best angels in Heaven, your Eckerler (our Mom) and you!
Every time we talked on the phone was a gift, and how easy it was to say "I love you, Mad" at the end of each telephone call. You are so loved by us and a day will not go by that I won't think of you, cry over you, and laugh to remember all the "WONDERFUL" we shared as a family.
Behind every cloud I will see a silver lining that will take me to a rainbow, and I know you are there.
You had quite a journey and you took it like a trooper, never complained and just went with it. That's called "COURAGE." I just hope you know what a wonderful woman you are and always will be.
Mike and I love you very much, especially me.......Lil as you will always be OUR MADELOON!
Rest In Peace, Mad as you deserve it. I love you very much and so does Mike.
Love Always, Lil & Mike

I remember Madeline' s kindness the summer my husband, John and I drove up to see Aunt Lil. We were really city people and Madeline showed us how to enjoy the country. She also told us how to get to Cooperstown and see the Baseball Hall of Fame. This was a time before GPSs so you had to rely on good directions. Madeline encouraged me to ride one of the work horses right on the paved road! She was a kind wonderful lady. God rest her soul

It is over one week since you left us. You gave it your all to stay with us but like you said to me "I am so tired". We are all walking around with heavy hearts and I know you would not want us to. You will be missed every single moment of every single day. I miss you Mad , but I have to believe you are with your mom, dad, brother, Aunt Lil, Alice, my mom and dad. The gates were wide open for sure. Till we see you again, May God Hold you in the palm of his hand. Love always, Donna

Dear Madeline,
This is just from me and a short one, too! Everyone has been emailing to offer their Condolences.
You will always be loved until we met again. You gave Donna and I the biggest "BOOST OF SELF ESTEME" when you turned over Lori and Linda, and Allen.
Don't worry about Bill as we will rally around him. Both of you were a shared love for each other, and we saw it too!
I will love you until we meet again, and then catch up where
we left off. I know you are seated at the righ hand of GOD.
I miss you terribly and our "GOSSIP" sessions, to!
Love Always, Lil

Dear Madeline, I found this beautiful saying and I hope you can see it from up above. I think it will help all of us just a little bit for right now.
May the Angels lead you into Paradise, and the Saints forever welcome you to the Holy City, the new and eternal Jerusalem!
May Choirs of Angels welcome you, with all your family and friends who have gone before you.
May you be with Mary our Mother, and may you find eternal rest with Jesus, her Son, our Brother. AMEN!
REST IN PEACE OUR BELOVED MADELINE. I KNOW THE GATES WERE WIDE OPEN, AND EVERYONE WAS WAITING FOR YOU. HOW COULD THEY NOT, AS YOU WERE SO LOVED!
We all love you very much! Until we meet again!
Love, Lil
