All those fabulous days as a young girl growing up in Guilford wouldn't have been the same without our nightly kickball games on the Hubbards lawn with Mr. Hubbard serving as the ball pitcher. Many wonderful memories I will always hold dear. My prayers for the entire family for healing and peace.

I (Beryl, cousin of Francis) have many fond memories of special times spent together. Thanksgivings were always spent with my Father's parents, Thomas and Jessie Hubbard on their farm in Mt. Upton. Francis, his brothers and sisters and parents would be there for a wonderful farm Thanksgiving. In the afternoon we would roam the farm together. In later teen years Francis came to Scranton and would spend a week with us and we would have fun exploring city life. In adult years we always looked forward to the trip he and Carol would plan for Florida to see their family and my parents, sister, Dianne and us. Only 4 months separated us. He became the spitting image of my father, Theodore Hubbard, his uncle. The legacy he gives to us is that he Loved His Lord and family and worked equally hard for both. His faith was anchored in Christ His Savior.

Carol and family, thinking of you with prayers for a life well lived. I have a great memories of Francis stopping to play basketball with us boys on his way home after working all day. He was really good too and taught us about sportsmanship and teamwork. He had a positive affect on many people over the years. May God bless & guide you all through this difficult time.

Francis will be missed on Guilford Lake. My son Dale (JR) and I would always stop to see Francis & Carol when visiting NY. He would keep us up on happenings on the lake and we would reminisce about the old days on the lake. Especially about my husband Dale and all his attempts at carpentry and good times on the porch or our deck. He even took us for a boat ride in July. We counted Francis as one of our best friends on the lake and even in New York. Carol and family, our thoughts & prayers are with you. I hope Dale and Francis are having a great reunion I Heaven. Love Sandy
