Uncle Jack...I will always hold a special place in my heart for you. I don't know what I ever would have done without your love and constant support. I will hold great memories of you at the kids sport games, our holidays together and your many visits to see me at the deli. You were loved by all of us and I will miss you. I know my mom was there to greet you as you were a lifesaver to both of us. Rest easy my dear uncle. I love you.

You leave a legacy of love and hope. For those who are struggling, may they be reminded that God's grace and mercy are boundless. You lived to help others and may your life be an example of hope and promise.

As I sit here putting a package together for your childhood friends.....I just thought I would tell you that I hope you are at rest and have peace. With Christmas coming up so soon, I only wish we were able to complete your last wish...I know that you wanted to spend time with me and my children this Christmas, and I am so deeply saddened that we will not be able to share the time with you. Austin and Morgan will be serving Mass on Christmas Eve, and while you will not be with us in church, please know that you will be with us in spirit and prayer. Thank you for your words to me the last time I saw you in Syracuse. Now I hope and pray that God will keep you close in your eternal rest. I love you Dad. (Minna bits)

I first meet Jack in May, 1964 when I was assigned as a rookie to the 106 Police Precinct. Jack was a gentlemen then and remained a man to look up to. We kept in touch via a group of old-timers "Dear Brothers" who had worked in the 106 Precinct. He will be missed, my condolences to his family.
