When we were in Junior High Joyce came to our home one evening for supper. A couple of days later my Mom received a lovely thank you note from Joyce. Until the time she passed on my mother never let me for get what nice manners she had and that I should try harder to emulate them. Joyce was a great girl and I', going to try harder to be nice like she was. RIP old friend!

Mum,
I think of you often and wish you were here. I know, however, that your pain is gone and although I miss you terribly, I wouldn't wish that pain back on you for even one day!
I see you in the flowers that I arrange for church, knowing how much you enjoyed taking care of the flowers at St. Peter's. I think of you when I pull out my sewing basket to quickly reattach a button or mend a pocket with a hole and think how easy you made these seem. I know that you follow all of our daily lives as you continue to watch over us. We were so blessed to have you as our Mum. I love you.
