How grateful I am that I got to know Erma and Barney during my years as pastor of the Guilford Center Presbyterian Church! (1986-1993) Erma was an excellent, efficient Clerk of Session and a cheerful presence, with a cry sense of humor and seeming unending patience. Her family and her church family took precedence always, and her deep, quiet faith was an inspiration. While I grieve for her leaving us, I rejoice that she is now reunited with Barney -- and in the presence of her Lord.
