& Andrew, and the entire Coe family...we are so sorry for your loss. Dick was loved by many. We both remember him from way back in the years at A& P, when our Moms would take us along shopping! Our thoughts and prayers are with you all in the tough days and weeks ahead. Treasure those special memories, and be sure to share them with each other.

Laura and family,
We were saddened to hear of the passing of your dad. He was a good and gentle man who worked hard and fought through health problems. I really appreciated his kind and thoughtful words when I was going through my aortic valve issues a few years ago. He will be deeply missed but the fond memories of your times together will be of comfort.
With deepest sympathy we will keep you in our prayers.

I think the NY Giants should dedicate this season to Dick Coe for his decades of loyalty to the G-Men! Like other parents of my classmates, Dick was one of the solid community members, keeping business humming while staying true to the family. I enjoyed visiting with him at Treat & Eats, especially during football season. Very likeable, and funny, too. My sympathies to the family. He lived a full life and will always be Mr. A & P to me.

Dear Laura, Debbie and Steve, My sincere sympathy to you. What a great friend Dick was to my Dad and to us all. He was always fun and I always enjoyed seeing him. Oh, the jokes they played on each other. What a wonderful friendship they had thru all the years. He loved you all and was so proud of his family. I am so sorry , I was away and not able to attend the service. God bless you all and comfort in the lifetime of memories. Love ,Rachel
I can just hear Dad and Dick reminiscing amongst the laughter.

Debbie, Steve and Laura,
I am so sorry to hear of your father's passing. He was a kind and gentle man, and a good neighbor in the truest sense.
I have such wonderful memories of your father and my father...the neighborhood clambakes, the silly practical jokes they played on each other (did you ever figure out about the second goldfish?), how they worked together and played together, and how they were always kidding each other..
their true, enduring, and life-long friendship is an inspiration.
Hoping your memories of him and the full life he lead bring you solace.
love, Pamela
