Obituary of Michael Robert Johnson

Michael Robert Johnson Bainbridge, NY Michael Robert Johnson, 57, of Bainbridge, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 29, 2013 at his home. Mike was born on May 30, 1956, son of the late LeRoy and Alice (Mills) Johnson in Sidney. He was a long time employee of Amphenol Corp. in Sidney, working as an oil room clerk. Mike was an avid golfer, playing in leagues in Sidney, Afton and Guilford. He also enjoyed bowling in both Bainbridge and Sidney. Mike was also a passionate deer hunter, hunting bow and gun seasons. Most of all though, Mike loved his family, especially his grandchildren. On September 24, 1977, Mike was married to Lorraine Olsen, who predeceased him. Mike is survived by: Son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Julie Johnson of Bainbridge Grandson, Samuel and Granddaughter, Isabelle Brother, Richard Johnson and Anne Mott of Bainbridge Brother, David and Donna Johnson of Kansas Friends are invited to call from 6:00-8:00pm on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney. Funeral services and burial in Greenlawn Cemetery will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Greenlawn Cemetery Association, 138 Dingman Hill Road, Bainbridge, NY 13733.
