Obituary of Sandra K. Hamilton

Sandra K. Hamilton Sidney Center, NY Sandra K. Hamilton 65 of Sidney Center passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 14, 2013 at her home. She was born March 15, 1948, daughter of the late Dewey and Aina (Ranta) Hillman in Rockaway Queens. Sandra married Paul W. Hamilton, Jr. on September 14, 1982 in Queens. He predeceased her on February 18, 2008. She worked for Mead Westvaco for over 18 years until she retired in 2012. Sandra was a dedicated member of the Sidney Center Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Sidney. She is survived by 4 Sisters, Barbara Kirk, Bronx Janet O'Hare, Broad Channel Helen Magill, FL Judy Kollmer, VA Brother- William Vogts, Kingston Several nieces, nephews and cousins Sandra is also predeceased by siblings Dale Vogts, John, James and Roger Hillman Friends may call Thursday, July 18, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney. Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 19, at 11:00 AM at the funeral chapel with Rev. Benjamin Shaw officiating. Burial in Highland Cemetery in Sidney Center will follow. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Sidney Center Fire Department.
