Where do I start? I have been a caregiver to Paul for a little over 3 1/2 years now, I did not get the chance to know him earlier in his life, but I feel like I did, he was an awesome friend and we had many great talks. His greatest loves were his family, in particular his children and his grandchildren..........I could tell so many stories that he has told me. My love is with all of you and I will always hold my memories of Paul in a special place in my heart! I will always consider the Ruff family, my family as well!

Hey Mr.Ruff, I never got to meet you, or if I did, I was young. I remember Hannah talking about you a lot and how much she loved you. I heard absolutely nothing but nice things out of Hannahs mouth about you. You get to be the guardian angel for your son, daughter and her family! I think you have the best view now. My family moved upstairs from Paul and family when I (and Abby) were less than a year old and he has been part of my family ever since. There are so many things about him that I will never forget and miss dearly. However, I've been remembering his love for his family, especially his children and grandchildren the past few days. My condolences to Abby, Trevor and family. I'm imagining all of us having a bonfire down by the creek, Abby complimenting her father's hair for being "fluffy" while asking if we can stay up just a bit longer... so many good memories...

We did not know Paul that well but felt his pain and now he is pain free. He was dealt a heavy burden at a young age but handled it with much grace and fortitude. I miss you so much Pauli.. Miss my weekends with you, miss our occassional 2 hour phone calls and calls during the week. I loved when I'd call and you'd always answer "Hey! How's my BFF", always!
