Obituary of Penny Anne Ostrander

Penny Ostrander Unadilla, NY Penny Anne Ostrander 62 of Unadilla passed away Thursday, June 13, 2013 at her home. She was born October 1, 1950, daughter of the late Paul and Ina (Choate) Parker in Sidney. Penny graduated from Sidney Central School with honors in 1968. She was employed as a purchasing and accounts receivable specialist for the Research Foundation of SUNY at Oneonta for the past 15 years. Penny was also a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Sidney. She was intelligent and very creative with an artistic nature that will be missed by all who knew her. Penny is survived by: Son - Ralph "JR" Ostrander and Deb Patterson, Bainbridge Daughter - Tara Morley and husband Brian, Unadilla Grandchildren - Jonathon Felber, Britny Ostrander and Logan Morley Brother - Paul Parker, Vestal Sisters - Paula Smith, Sidney Anne Leibundgut and husband Skip, Norwich And several nieces, nephews and great nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call Monday, June 17, 2013 from 6-8 PM at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 18, at 10:00 AM in the funeral chapel with Fr. James Shevlin of St. Paul's Episcopal Church officiating. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Sidney.
