JOHN posted a condolence
That he had not been able to pass the physical due to a prior broken back when he volunteered he later went in on draft. He was forever changed by his time in the service and carried the memories of the aftermath of the war up to the day he passed. A patriot. He loved America and was proud to serve. He loved and stayed with his wife for seven years after she had a stroke until she predeceased him. He will be missed.

He was a friend of my husband, Dick, and worked at Amphenol also.
He would call Dick frequently to see how he was doing. The last time I talked with him was around a week ago and he missed his friend (Dick) to chat with. Now they can chat frequently together and he will be with Joyce, God bless them all, miss them.
