I remember my best friend Ellen, throughout the almost 45 years of our friendship, always speaking so highly of her father. Even though I only met him a few times, I could see that he was the kind, gentle man she had always talked about. She also said he was always so positive, never spoke negatively of anyone and had earned the respect of all who knew him. I know he will be missed so very much, and my husband Jack and I wish to express our condolences to all of you at this difficult time.

He was a gentle man, and a gentleman, indeed. Whenever I treated him at the dental office, he always took the time to thank me for the good job. Rest in peace, Mr. Kokalas. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

I remember Mr. Kokalas as a well respected citizen of our neighborhood long ago when I lived on Pineview
terrace. There were many great families there and I am lucky to have grown up in such a great environment. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Art Weed, Stuart, Fl

Ellen, Ron and family,
I was so sorry to read about the passing of your father. I remember meeting your Mom and Dad when we moved in to that "quaint" house in Delancey. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Susan and Jeff

Mrs. Susan Kokalas, Mrs. Susan Terry, Mr. Edward Kokalas Jr., and Mrs. Ellen ,
In preparing for Class of 1963, including Edward Jr., celebration of its 50th reunion, I look forward prayerfully to meeting you again. It brings back good memories of our neighbourhood and Edward Sr. from our youth through to my mom Marian Cable and fellow neighbour Patsy Possemato who also passed away in 2009. In visiting my Aunt Jeanne Dilley in 2011, I was pleased to meet Susan Jr. on neighboring DeWitt Dr.
I was pleased to meet Edward Sr. and you when mowing the lawn, and after the earlier 2005 reunion, Edward Jr. to get a great picture for him towards your home. I have reminded my sister Mary Lou of great pictures mom took of us when kids including Uline and Wyss neighbors before the latter moved to Campstreet when the Scotts/ Nordlund then moved in.
I also recall the neighbourhood ladies weekly Pinochle game when rotating to our home, and which Ed Jr. continued with Posse, George Weed and I continued our own when we were in High School. A more worrisome event was an unsuccessful rocket test in my back yard with Ed Jr.’s help!
May God be with you always and especially this time of loss. I also especially pray for Mrs. Dorothy Drake that she may be able to join the reunion luncheon.
