My memories of David are only through the many little stories his little sister Corie would tell now and again. The ones that tell how David cared for their father truly show the man & son he was. It's those memories that will comfort them through this difficult time knowing they are together again. Sending prayers to his children, family & all who knew him. Rest in Peace David

Dave was one of the funniest people I ever met. I often use him as my inspiration for my own strange sense of humor. Had many nights of non stop laughter with Dave at the Nite life Pub. I was so happy to reconnect with him on FB. He will be sorely missed by all but always with us spiritually. God bless and Gods rest Dave!

Dave was such a big part of my childhood leading through graduation from HS. He was warm, funny, loyal, honest, crazy, zany and someone I loved very much. He was my first kiss and like the rest of us who grew up on Willow Street and Stoninghton Circle, there is not one person who grew up there that didn't love our life and our friendships. Dave said it was the best time of his life. Carefree, happy and having fun. I remember his mini bike racing up and down the street. I'd jump on, my father would be yelling, your mom would be yelling for us both to get off that thing. Discovering "hidden treasures" while the Tudor house was being built and being scared shitless and running away. Of course this was nightime and none of us thought to bring a flashlight. The "spying" games on the hill. Then there was the imfamous Mrs. Gurney and of course who could forget "Crazy Joe". He lived next to Kevin and he'd come speeding up the block and was always threatening and yelling at us. Playing kick ball in front of your house for hours. Going into the "woods" to see if we could build a "fort". Dave, me, Steve, Kevin, Lisa, Seth (LOL - the memories of Seth could be a book). Camp Fires on the sand hill. Unfortunately, you and Steve got caught by the police. I know Steve came home in a cop car. LOL I'm sure my parents thought I would have been the one escorted home by the police). Everyday was fun and filled with love and laughter. I'm sure Dave's checking out Stoninghton Circle and feeling the love and happiness of our youths. Rest in peace dear friend. I'll miss you so very, very much!

It was almost 30 years ago that I met Dave. We became close friends quickly and I soon was working with him at his brother bar and sharing a house. I met my first wife while living with him as he met Denise. Years later my 2nd wife learned about my crazy days from Dave when I brought her to meet my mom. We drifted apart and lost contact for years, but thanks to facebook we were able to catch up and spoke several times by phone. I had hoped that sometime soon DAve could have visited me in Florida or I could have traveled up North. My times with Dave are some of the fondest memories from my 20's. He will be missed by all who knew him.

I first met Dave shortly after I moved to Melville in the Summer of 1972. Many of my fondest childhood memories include Dave, we were like the kids in the movie: Stand By Me, exploring and taking ln life to its fullest, time moved slowly then. Dave's carefree nature and incredible sense of fun made each day a new adventure. His sense of humor, timing and the ability to make others feel comfortable will be missed and long remembered. A smile washes over my face, each time I think of this unique and special friend. Rest in Eternal Peace, Until we meet again...

David's soul will live on with me from when we were children to young adults. He is probably the most humorous man I have known throughout my life time, as we were growing up. I regret loosing contact with Dave over the years, but he will forever be remembered by me with all the good times. May God Bless you Dave and rest in peace my dear friend.
