Obituary of Roger C. Shultis

Roger C. Shultis East Guilford, NY Roger C. Shultis, 81, of East Guilford, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 18, 2013. Roger was born on March 21, 1932, son of the late Loren and Irene (Trowbridge) Shultis in Kelly Corners, NY. Roger served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Later, he was employed by Amphenol Corp. as a technician in the test lab. Roger enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and snowmobiling. He loved spendingtime with his family and friends and was always there to help them out when needed. He will always be remembered by his nieces and nephews as their "favorite Uncle Roger". Roger is survived by his sisters, Elsie Algeria of East Moriches, NY and Muriel (Robert) Felske of Sidney, and brother-in-law, Fred DeCosterd of Florida, as well as many nieces and nephews. Roger was predeceased by two brothers, Merwin and Hilton Shultis, and two sisters, Marie Popolizio and Patricia DeCosterd. Brother-in-law Joseph Algeria, and sister-in-law, Eugenia Shultis, also predeceased him. At Roger's request, there will not be any calling hours or funeral services. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Kelly Corners Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.landersfh.com.
