Boy, where do I start. When the loss of my Dad back in 75 and with my Brother's and Sister's support, there was Pat and Dick Barnes support as well. I spent many nights, weekends at the Barnes, the bowling alley and the Fire house sharing stories, laughs and tears. Will never forget the travels to all the softball games watching and help coach Connie. While sitting here at work, it will be a very sad day. I was planning on visiting you in May, and Pat I'm so sorry I didn't make it in time. May God watch over you each day. To Dick, Rick, Cindy and Connie, your Mom was a great person and one I loved as much as you guys did and my heart goes out to you all and may your Mom and Dick (Pat) find peace in Heaven.

It had been too many years since I saw Pat on a regular basis because of those glorious years of Sidney girls sports in the early to mid 1980s as well as the bowling alley for all the latest "selective information" she gave me, Pat was a kind soul who thrived seeing other people happy. She lit up the room and I think she often was the one who turned the switch to make that possible. We can all be glad she does not suffer any more. My sympathies to the entire family

I was in no way prepared for how I would feel when you finally left us. You were and are surrounded by love. I will miss you every day. I take comfort in knowing you have found peace and can finally talk up a storm, you liked to talk. I am so blessed to have had you in my life. Love you always and forever. XOXOXO

Dick, Cyndi, Rick, Connie, I am so very, very sorry to learn of Pat's death, just now, Sept. 2015. She was truly a lovely woman and such a pleasure to know.
You may not recall my name but I am the mother of Dalyce and Julie Dahl, (the daughters also of Jack Dahl who was a boyhood friend of Dick's.) At one time, the girls and I lived across the street (Bridge St) from you when you lived with your Caswell grandparents, Charlie and Marian, of whom I was very fond. (Karl, my current husband and I moved away from Sidney in 1979.)
I pray your lives are continuing in happiness as your mom would have wanted. I know she was very proud of you all and loved her role as wife and mother.
Take care. I pray God will hold you closely and be your comfort in all your times of need.
Shirley
