Bucky played JV Baseball for Sidney when I was the team manager - he could hit the ball a long way but never made it to varsity.
Later, when he was a senior and I was a lowly sophomore, we were 3rd Trombones together in the Sidney band that went to Ireland. As tough as we was then, he had my back.
Much later, it was cool to see him again as our daughters were - and are - friends.
So sorry he lost his battle, but Bucky had a ton of support along the way. May he rest in peace...and maybe look up Marty Steele for some games of pool.

My thoughts and Prayers go out to Bucky's family.
We all hung out as kids since we lived next door, his mom babysat us 5 Nabinger kids, got us off to school and I am sure between all of us we got into more trouble than we ever care to admit.
Love and light and God bless and carry you.
