Obituary of Richard A. Ketchum

Richard A. Ketchum Sidney Center, NY Richard (Red) Ketchum, 82, of Sidney Center passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2013 in the comfort of his home after a long illness. He was born November 23, 1930 in the Town of Afton. Red loved farming and hunting deer and continued to do both until his health declined 3 years ago. He is survived by: 2 Daughters - Fay Wallace, NC Lisa Hunt, NY Step-daughter - Barb Conklin, VA Step-Son - Richard (Dicky) Morris, Fl 4 Sisters - Marcella Noble, NY Martha Clark, FL Kathleen Hicks, NY Dorothy Crawford. NY 2 Brothers, Cliff Ketchum, NY Glen Ketchum, TX 12 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren Several nieces and nephews Red was predeceased by his wife Dorothy of 22 Years, Daughter Kathy Finch, 4 Brothers Don, Leon, David and Carl Ketchum and Sister, Marjorie Aldridge Services were held Saturday, February 16, from 4-5 PM at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney and Funeral services followed at 5:00 PM at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Sidney Center at a later date.
