Charly was always a friend as well as a cousin. I always enjoyed visits with him when I was in the area. For years we traded information on the family tree, and he was always very helpful and kind.

Charlie Lord was always gracious, always looking for a better way, always positive and supportive of family, friends, employees, church and pastor. He was a gentle leader who expected your best and usually got it. He led by example. He was parishioner and friend. He made good things happen. Always ready to laugh, He made you laugh too. Miss you deeply, Charlie. Our hearts grieve with his family, his friends, with all of Bainbridge. Our deep sympathy, our thoughts and prayers for you in your loss. May celebrating his life give you the strength you need in these days of sadness.

Kevin and family-
Please know that so many of us in the Bainbridge community share this loss with you. For many of us who grew up here, your father has been always been a part of our lives.
May you gain comfort from so many lives he touched. I'm sure he is enjoying standing up to meet his final reward-and sharing many a story with others he knew.

To Charlie's Family:
We have always had a special,
warm regard for your father,
brother and brother-in-law .
We admired his dedication to community service. We respected his intelligence;
and, we applauded his humility. He was most supportive to us during our "salad days" in the retail business; and, he had
a clear understanding of our
vision for the future. He did
all that he could to help us
translate our dream into reality. Kevin, you come of
GOOD STOCK ! Your parents will
always watch over you and Thomas. You were the loves of their lives.
God bless you all.

I first met Charles and Carolyn after moving here in the early 60's. My first husband worked at the bank with him. I also sang in the Methodist choir with him. He always had a smile on his face. The town of Bainbridge has lost a wonderful person, and we will remember him forever.
Sincerely, Julie Moore
