Here was a guy who was as easy-going as anyone I've ever known. Friend to all, and a real good man. I would like to extend my personal condolences to the Johnson families. April, thank you for sharing Jerry with us. I suppose my last real good memory is when the twins (and Marge!) drove their JD tractors in the Sidney Hometown Day Parade.

April,Jeremy,Jim,Marge and the Johnson family We have lost a great man . I have some great memories of things like family and tractor events all made better because of Jerry being at them . Some of the things that I will miss like his smile and wave as we pass in the field at a plow day . Him saying us tractor people are not very smart as we stand in the rain waiting for the Sidney parade to start . Jerry always saying Jerry Johnson thats who when he would call me on the phone . Jerry ,Mark and I going to a tractor club meeting just so we could go to the Texas Roadhouse or Outback for supper . Jerry called this our big night out on the town . They say that they have John Deere's in Heaven and I am sure he is up there giving them a good ride . Jerry was my brother in law , best friend, tractor buddy and a guy always there if I or anyone needed a helping hand. R.I.P Jerry I am going to miss you , see you later Tom

Do you remember 1957 when the Lee's lived down the road in the red house? Jerry's older brothers taught me and my brothers how to fish without a pole, remember? Anyway, it saddens me to lose a friend from years ago. Some times in a persons life they meet someone that they never forget. Jerry was one of those people to me. I never did stop to see his John Deere collection; even though I was invited at one point in time. Give me a jingle sometime Jim. Again, my condolences to the Johnson family.
