Now there was a truly great man who brought a smile to the face of everyone who came near to him. He inspired thousands with his giving nature and kindness. He and his wife raised a family with a thoughtfulness rarely seen and with results the world could envy. And his was about the most positive, cheerful, sweetest nature that ever graced this earth. A life well lived, dear Tommy. We all count ourselves blessed to have known you.

A Rock of Gibraltar for decades, Tom Mirabito was the kind of man who worked, played and lived the ideals of a productive, family-oriented Sidney business-owner. His baseball abilities (I heard and read) were amazing. He was a steadfast believer that hard work and vision could result in a better world. To be friends of the family meant you WERE family to Tom. If you were a Mirabito employee you also were family. I'll miss shaking his hand in church - now there was a handshake! And to my family it meant much more. RIP sir. And thank you for all you did for Sidney.

I remember how proud I was when he came in to talk to my class. He, along with my father, were two remarkable men. They both touched the lives of many and will forever be missed by those of us left behind.

I'm very sorry to hear of the passing of Tom Mirabito. I will always remember how nice he was in his treatment of both me and my wife. He took the time to say hello at numerous basketball games between Windsor & Sidney & I remember him always coming to my week at camp for lunch and showing up early to comment about my organization of the program. I can also remember seeing him early on Sunday afternoons playing tennis at camp especially when his opponent was Russ Brummer. I can still hear and see him with his brother Soddy at games, at camp and many other places in the Central NY area. I miss both of these gentlemen and their families. Our deepest and sincere sympathy to the family of Tom Mirabito. Gary and Susan Vail

My thoughts are of Tom and my prayers are for all of us left behind in bereavement. Tom is fine. What a man. What an example of how to live a life.
From my first memory of meeting him and Soddy down at the grain/lumber place by the tracks as a 12 year old paper boy, to his encouragement in high school when he would pull over the car if he spotted me around Prospect Drive and just "check in with me" to see how things were going, to seeing him later in life and being greeted with a question that reflected his genuine interest in another human being. What a wonderful guy and one who left a big impression. Tom and God are having a meaningful converstion at this very moment.
Janet's and my prayers are for Mrs. Mirabito and for Rosemarie and Art. May God comfort you with his blessings and grace, and my you find solace in having the priviledge to have been so close to a remarkable man.
You and the rest of the family will be in our thoughts in prayers tomorrow and for the Mass on Monday.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Mirabito family at this difficult time. When I met Mr. Mirabito in 2006, he quickly became very special to me for his candid advice on all matters pertaining to Sidney. I looked forward to seeing him at Rotary Club meetings and listening to his history lessons that were important for me to hear. And, he always had a word of encouragement for me, which was so very much appreciated. It is obvious that he touched the lives of so many people, and his thoughtful, caring personality will be missed by everyone. My heart goes out to the family, and I thank you for sharing him with all of us. What a blessing it was to know such a great man!
