In 30 years of Nursing, few families have marked my heart like yours. I'm so sorry for your loss. I've learned through the years that cancer is not picky. I'm VERY sorry it picked Christine. Please know that the Tri-Town staff on duty on 3/15 are thinking of you. Tammie, I was so happy to see your Mom's necklace on you. You have a special guardian angel now.

The physical suffering can never be measured, however neither can the long-lasting joy brought about by knowing Chris in any capacity. I say the latter trumps the former by a ton. The last time I saw Chris was actually when I met her, following the recent Ithaca College All-Campus Band Fall Concert. Kevin & Tammie had played saxophone in that ensemble. Tammie, thank you for the official introduction, because my memory will always be the look of maternal pride as she got to hear some great music from her amazing daughter. Please know we are here for you. Chris was one special lady. Her suffering is over yet her joy lives on.
