Mrs. Pelton was an aid to my mother, Barbara Olson at Afton School for many years. My mother thought very highly of her and considered her a good friend. I remember her as a very sweet lady, who always had a smile. She always made me feel welcome in her presence. I also was intrigued and tickled by her accent. :) I was very sorry to learn of her passing and my sincerest condolences to her family. I wish for them comfort and understanding at this difficult time and also joy in their memories of her and knowing that she has gone to be with the Lord.

Berta was an integral part of many aspects of our music program at Afton Central School assisting with all of our AV needs. We shared many, many conversations over the years and she was a good friend. My sincere condolences to her family in their time of loss.
