The Stringer family lost a very loving father, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather and a strong willed man. A Military Veteran who fought for his country, Village of Sidney Supervisor who was renowned by his peers, and a wonderful indivigual to know and interact with. May your memories of this man remain strong in your minds and hearts and bring you a smile as you recall special memories that you could and should share with others. I am proud to say I was lucky enough to know this man and enjoyed his company.

I met Harley and worked with him many years ago when Dunc Adair was the Superintendent of Public Works for the Village. Harley was a smart and talented man that knew much about many things. He could operate and repair about any machine that the Village had. I was happy that years later he became the Superintendent because he knew the job and and deserved to be advanced. I kept in touch with him threw the years the best that I could and was always happy to to talk to him about the times we had in our younger days working for Dunc. Rest in Peace my friend, Art Weed, Jensen Beach, Fl

Sending heartfelt prayers to the Stringer family. He was a wonderful man. I often think of him and Ike coming into the coffee shop way back in the day. They were some of my and my Mom's (Bev) favorite customers. Harlan was the quiet one and Ike was the smartie pants but we loved them both. God Bless you all.
