It has been many years since I have seen or spoken to JoAnn but I will never forget her as I was a frequent visiter to the Newell household when we were kids. I will always remember how much fun I had when I stayed there and how always welcome this remarkable family made me feel. It sounds as though JoAnn continued her life in this fashion. My deepest sympathies to her Mom, Grace, her husband, Tim, and the rest of her wonderful family and friends. She will remain in our hearts forever! May God bless us all.

Our hearts are with JoAnn's family during this difficult time. She was such a caring woman who loved her family. She did anything for anyone. She had a heart of gold. I remember taking our children when they were younger to bake Christmas cookies and camping at KOA. She always knew how to put a smile on their faces. I loved that about her. Her hugs were the best. We will all miss her, she was always there to help the firemen when we had big fires she would be there with coffee and hot cocoa or water. She helped run our spaghetti supper and did so much with the ladies auxiliary.
