Knowing Leah brought a smile to my heart and made those with whom she came in contact happy. Her smile was contagious.
It was a pleasure seeing her in school. She always wanted to be successful; she was a hard worker who was inquisitive.
Leah will be missed by those of us who knew her.

I had the privilege and honor of working with Leah and she taught me much more than I ever taught her. She truly was an inspiration and such a determined warrior for advocacy in the disabled community. She accomplished so much in her short life and I'm very glad that I got to know her. My thoughts and condolences go out to Stephanie and Dale. Rest in peace, Leah. Hail the traveler.

Leah, we met at Children’s hospital during a pain treatment. You + your mom were incredible & your close bond was apparent. You had and still have made an impact on those you met. I’m so sad you are no longer here but I’m glad you are no longer in agony.

Wow I don't know where to begin! My heart breaks and I am saddened to hear this news. Leah was such an amazing little girl when I met her in Mrs. Martin's Kindergarten class!!! As a teaching assistant and being in a position to see the children grow and thrive everyday, Leah truly captured my heart!!! She was my ray of sunshine each and everday! Even on the cloudiest days she would light up the room with her smile! I know she turned into an amazing young woman and I'm so glad of all the opportunities that she was able to experience! I am so thankful for knowing her the time that I did! Thank you for sharing your so amazing daughter!!!! Lots of love, hugs, and prayers to you and your family!!!!
