Mike...just seeing this... such fond memories of your Mom as part of our church family...she was always so kind and whenever I saw her she made me feel special!! A strong sweet lady for sure! My deepest condolences to the Elwood family. Helen & I always shared a good long hug (and cry) whenever we met. May she rest in peace with her husband and son, Dan, who left us way too early.

Sincerest sympathies to The Family I met Helen when she was at Bainbridge NBT. We bought land across from them but are plans fell through. Would have loved them as neighbors.

Mike and extended Elwood family. We are sad to learn of Helen’s passing. She was a strong and compassionate person who always greeted me with a hug and a smile. We shared difficult times at different times in our lives and I will always remember her kindness and support. We pray she is now united with her beloved son and husband.
