We will remember Gertie always. Her enthusiasm for life and in everything she did was remarkable. She loved her God, her family and a host of friends. Any where that Gertie went there was always someone she knew or someone who knew of her. We will miss her dearly she was an inspiration and a good friend. Our sympathy to Leota, Doug and the rest of her family.
Sincerely, Pat & Paul Flores

I am so sorry for your loss. She led a very long active life. In 1959 or 1960 we performed together in a Guilford community show while I was in high school and had a great time. We also worked together with various activities in Guilford over the years. She was a remarkable lady. Enjoy your memories!

I would walk down to her house in Guilford with my mom and sit around the table listening to her and Naldin talk about old time when they were growing up. She was into everything. She will be very missed.

I didn't know Gertie personally but my uncle, Joseph Schuck, spoke often of her. He gave her rides to Grange meetings for several years. He missed her companionship when she moved from Guilford and no longer was able to attend the Grange meetings. My condolences on your loss of such a special women!

Gerti was a fixture in the Guilford Community to so many and was always there to chat, greet people in town , or share recipes or talk about fabrics, crocheting, etc. I was lucky to see some of her ribbons and hear some of her stories about her amazing life. We are proud to have known her. Instead of being sorry she is gone, we are celebrating with you, and her joy to be with the Lord, and of a truly amazing life lived. Our thoughts are with her many family and friends at this time.
