Dear Champlin Family;
So sorry to hear about your Dad. He was instrumental in bringing me into the Engineering Group back in 1975 when I was fresh out of college and provided a path for me to advance within the Bendix organization. A professional manager in every way. RIP Alan.

I looked forward to your dad’s Christmas letters every year and delighted when he would send me an e-mail now and then. He wrote about family and friends which he cared and loved so deeply. His enthusiasm about his travels to Florida with Zee, stories about you boys, and introducing me to Sharon drew me in to learning more about family. I have connected with so many family members since his first letter in 2012. Visiting with you all last summer was very special, it is even more special at this time. You hole -digging boys turned out alright, because of your wonderful, sweet, caring dad.
All our Love
Richard and Jamie

Mark,Brian,John,
My deepest heartfelt condolences with the loss of your dad.
Your dad was my first boss at Bendix. Always had a smile on his face and always protected those who worked for him. I will always remember him so fondly. Every time I think of him, I smile,as he was always so great natured and always spread good vibes to everyone he came in contact with. Your dad was extremely smart and brought a lot to the table at any Bendix meeting. In later years seeing him, his spirit did not change. I am one of the lucky ones to say it was a privilege to have worked with him and no him. May you Know, your dad made such a difference in such a positive way to so many. RIP Mr. C
